We all know school lunch isn’t gourmet, but that doesn’t mean it is all bad.
This week I purchased school lunch from Tuesday to Friday and rated the meals from one to ten.
The lunch wasn’t horrible. I loved the mangos, but the bread roll tasted like every other bread and the nuggets tasted like the frozen dinner you would get at the supermarket. It wasn’t bad, but honestly, it felt more like a snack than lunch.
The milk was frozen, but I wouldn’t have drunk it anyway. I prefer water. Overall, I rate the lunch a 5/10.
The chicken sandwich was flavorful and filling. The grapes were crunchy and yummy. You really can’t get that wrong, so 10 out of 10 for that. The strawberry flavor applesauce was average and, again, the milk was frozen. Overall, it’s a 6/10 rating.
I haven’t got the faintest idea if that sandwich was actually Italian, but it was amazing. The only downside is that it seemed very small. The plum and applesauce were great; no problems there. I love fruit on a whole. My overall rating would be 7/10.
I really enjoyed the pizza. It was actually one of the best pizzas I’ve had, and I barely eat pizza, let alone cheese pizza. The fries were too soft and wet. They must’ve been undercooked or put in the microwave. I still ate them, but I’ve honestly had better. The purple grapes were as purple grapes are. I like green grapes better, but nothing was wrong with them. Overall, I give it a 7/10 rating.
In general, I hear a lot about how school lunch isn’t the best, but you get what you pay for, and after almost a week of eating school lunch every day, I have to say it wasn’t that bad. I give school lunch in general a 6.25 out of 10.
