Club 757 is a program merged by the Tidewater Volleyball Association (TVA) Youth programs and Coastal Volleyball Club. It is also the only 757 club offering indoor and sand volleyball through its duo program.
Club 757 is an extension of TVA Youth programs and Coastal Volleyball Club’s already established programs, dedicated to improving the skills of all volleyball players, from children to adults.
Four Divisions are offered so that everyone has the opportunity to do what they love: play volleyball.
757 Juniors is an entry-level league, where everyone makes a team and is there to develop the skills they will need to play volleyball and progress to the next level; Regionals.
757 Regionals is for players who are working to improve their skills. Their playing time is earned, and players, as well as their parents, are given the opportunity to experience what practice and traveling for tournaments is like.
The highest levels are the 757 Travel and National teams. To be on these teams requires discipline and dedication from volleyball players. These teams compete at the national level, amongst other players from a variety of different clubs at their skill level. They also compete in out-of-region and in-region tournaments. Play time is earned and determined by the coaches of the team(s).
“My experience with this club has been amazing in meeting new people, having coach’s connections, and self-improvement in volleyball,” said Lizzy A. Salas, a junior at Landstown High School.
Salas plays on one of the Regionals’ 16 teams.
“Tournaments are so fun! We get to play teams sometimes out of state as well as getting to travel sometimes ourselves. We learn about other sports centers,” said Salas. “There’s just something about playing with a team that you’re like a family towards with coaches that love you. It makes this club feel special.”
It can be difficult to find a way to play volleyball competitively and/or at your level. TVA has given many the opportunity to do just that.
