Senior Class President Gary Sapinoso has been heavily involved in the student body council and strives to be an excellent class president.
“Gary is hard-working, focused, and always helpful,” said social studies teacher Jennifer Mechling. “He’s a real asset to his class, often contributing with insightful comments or questions.”
Many teachers have witnessed his drive first hand in classes. His efforts flow over into his work and leadership in other positions throughout the school.
“Gary and I have worked within the same spheres for the majority of high school and I hold him in the highest regard,” said senior SCA President Gwen Darrow. “Yes, I believe that he deserves this position!”
Darrow has worked with Sapinoso many times, and will until they both graduate. She has seen him in action first-hand and knows what he can do if he puts his mind to it.
“I love being the president,” said Sapinoso. “Engaging with the student body is half the job, making sure everyone enjoys their senior year is really important to me.”
Being the senior class president requires a great deal of self-motivation and time during one lunch and after school. Sapinoso understands the requirements, and works to ensure everyone in his class is enjoying his or her time here at school.
Many students have their opinions about Sapinoso, but he has worked to earn the love from the student body by what he does at the school to help and promote the well being of each individual here.
