#5 – Timberland Boots – 198$ on the Timberland and Journeys websites

The Timberland Boots are a bit on the steeper side when it comes to price; however it also has phenomenal functionality when it comes to being an actual boot. It can provide a fall look and be a great option for outdoor tasks like yard work due to it’s high resilience. This also means that they will last a while. That price might be high at first, but they could undoubtedly last years before they need to be replaced.

Good options to pair with:

  • Washed Denim
  • Coats and/or Jackets
  • Flannels

#4 – Chuck Taylor All Star High/Low (aka Converse) – 60$ on the Converse website and virtually everywhere else

The Chuck Taylor All Stars are one of the most popular sneakers of all time and rightfully so. The design of these sneakers has stayed the same for decades, it is a simple silhouette and can compliment any outfit. They are also very cost efficient which means it’s no big deal if they get dirty. On top of that, the Chuck Taylors come in a plethora of different colors which allows everyone to pick the right pair.

Good options to pair with:

  • Ripped/Distressed Denim
  • Vintage t shirts
  • Shorts
  • Matching color socks (Especially important for the low cut)

#3 – Vans Sk8-Hi – 80$ on the Vans website and readily available in store and other common sneaker stores

The Vans Sk8-Hi is also a very old shoe that has barely changed over the years. It is a very common sneaker and is very cost efficient as well. The Sk8-Hi silhouette is just one of many versions of the Vans sneaker. This is what really separates the Vans from other brands is just how different some of these models are. It can be a simple low cut in the Old Skools or have a zipper on the side like the Vans Sk8-Hi Reissue Cap. The prices vary from model to model however there is definitely something for everyone.

Good Options to pair with:

  • Vans brand socks
  • Vans brand tops or hoodies
  • Kakeys
  • Long sleeve shirts

#2 – Dr. Marten Leather Lace Up Boots – 150$ on the Dr. Martens website

These boots are a classic mainstay for many female wardrobes, and who can blame them. These boots are not as steep of a  price and can go with many different styles. They can be fresh and clean or scuffed and beat, whatever the wearer desires. These also come in many different colors which further drives home the diversity of the boot. Very similar to the Timberlands as they also last a long time and are easy to clean.

Good options to pair with:

  • Plaid skirts or pants
  • Neutral tone clothing
  • Tights
  • Denim
  • Sweaters

#1 Nike Blazer Mid/Low 77 – 85-100$ on the Nike website

The Nike Blazers go hand in hand with classic or vintage vibes. These don’t get mentioned as much due to the popularity of the Nike Air Force 1 which are equally amazing shoes. However, the Blazers are typically cheaper and much more widely available. They also come in a mid and low cut, this gives consumers more options to express themselves. Once again these come in different colors which adds diversity to what outfits could be pulled off.

Good options to pair with:

  • Denim
  • Nike brand socks
  • Vintage t shirts
  • Nike Sweatpants
  • Sports caps

Whether a specific pair of shoes looks good is subjective from person to person. What matters is if it makes the person feel good while wearing them.
