Black Adam was released on October 21, 2022 to theaters. Adam is a man with superpowers. He obtains these superpowers from his son, Harut. 

Although the plotline is interesting, I feel there is little character development for Adam. There was really no change in character like you’d expect there to be. 

One element of the movie I enjoyed is the on-going rivalry between Black Adam and Hawkman. Their scenes are entertaining and comedic. There is a lot of action in this movie which is good if you enjoy it. In my opinion, there was just constant fighting and the dialogue was kind of dry.

Dwayne Johnson (AKA The Rock) plays the role of Black Adam, which is iconic in my opinion. Even though I think the Rock did well, he did not have a lot of facial expressions during the movie. He mostly had this intense smolder on his face the entire film, which was boring. It seemed like Black Adam had not felt the same emotions that the other characters did even though he experienced them too. 

The ending of Black Adam is the most shocking part of the entire movie, but you’ll have to watch it to find out what happens.
