Pets are amazing companions. They are loyal, loving, and make life so much better.
Sophomore Isabel Nickelberry
Q: What type of pet do you have and what is their name?
A: A dog; her name is Momo.
Q: How did you come up with their name?
A: I came up with her name from Avatar: The Last Airbender. She has the same patches on her fur that looked exactly like the character. Also, her personality, like the character’s, always eating and destroying things by accident.
Q: What breed are they?
A: She is a full Siberian Husky.
Q: How long have you had your pet?
A: A year and three months.
Q: What is your favorite habit that your pet does?
A: We can do high-fives! She does it when you say “high-five Momo!”, then she will wait for you to put your hand up for a high-five.

Q: What type of pet do you have and what is their name?
A: A dog named Coco, my baby.
Q: How did you come up with their name?
A: Because when we first got her, she watched Coco with my baby sister, so that was what we named her.
Q: What breed are they?
A: A weiner dog, I don’t know the name of the breed. [A Dachshund]
Q: How long have you had your pet?
A: For about four years.

A: My family owns a tarantula named Regina.
Q: How did you come up with their name?
A: I didn’t really come up with the name. My parents named her Regina because it was the name of one of their favorite characters from a show called “Once Upon A Time.”
Q: What breed are they?
A: A rose hair Tarantula.
Q: How long have you had your pet?
A: We’ve had her for ten years!
Q: What is your favorite habit that your pet does?
A: Regina lives in a glass cage, and one of my favorite habits that she does is she’ll actually climb her walls and she’ll hang upside down from her cage ceiling sometimes.

A: I have a horse and her name is Thalia.

A: It’s the name of a Greek Goddess.

A: She is a Chincoteague Pony, which is native to Virginia.
Q: How long have you had your pet?
A: I have had her for eight years.
Q: What is your favorite habit that your pet does?
A: My favorite thing about her is that she does not like anyone except for me.
