Perimeter Walk Baked Goods is an at-home business run by dietician and new mom, Samantha Schneider. She makes a myriad of treats, including cookies, brownies, cakepops, protein treats, “pocket pies,” and much more.
She sells her products not only on Instagram but also through local coffee shop Astraea, near the courthouse.
“Astraea is one of my favorite coffee shops, and I love how they source their goods from local mom and pop bakeries,” said senior Em Montalvo. “I specifically love the baked goods that they sell”, says Senior Em Montalvo.
I am going to be reviewing a few of the desserts and ranking them based on flavor, presentation, and convenience.
Chocolate Chip Cookie Dunkers:

Flavor: 7/10
Presentation: 9/10
Convenience: 9/10
These are so yummy! I love how easy they are to eat because of their interesting shape. They are great by themselves and also dipped in a beverage of your choice. I did eat mine at room temperature, but I think I would have enjoyed it more warm.
Cookie Monster Pocket Pie:

Flavor: 8/10
Presentation: 10/10
Convenience: 8/10
This is one of their most popular flavors of Pocket Pie, and I can see why. The chocolate chip cookie filling works great with the icing on top. My favorite part has to be the crust, which is flaky and perfectly crisp. It is also very visually appealing, and I can definitely picture it on a dessert table or at an event.
Pistachio Butter Chocolate Bars:

Flavor: 10/10
Presentation: 10/10
Convenience: 9/10
This is my favorite thing I tried for so many reasons. I love pistachios, and I had no clue it could be turned into a “butter” like peanuts or almonds can. The dark chocolate on the outside is rich and has a great snap when you bite into it. Despite it being a delicious dessert, it is also somewhat healthy, with the pistachio butter being homemade and not containing seed oils or preservatives.
