Fringe Festival is finally upon us! The theatre strand’s final project will be performed on May 8th and 9th at the Susan S Goode Fine and Performing Arts Center. Here is a small preview of the shows on both nights one and two.

“The Day Trip” is a story about a sibling duo who go on the adventure of a lifetime despite the differences between them as they’ve grown apart.
Another You!
Written by Lauren Clark
Directed by Urva Jayshval
“Another You!” is about two unlikely friends stuck in detention on Halloween night. Things may get spookier than either of them expected.
Memories in a Box
Written by Blair Hrudowsky
Directed by Angela Chen and Isabella Gray
“Memories in a Box” follows Lorelei and her friend Emma as they go through a box of trinkets that she collected over the course of a past relationship. They become immersed in the memories and begin to reflect.
Blind Date

“Blind Date” is about a girl going on her first date with a stranger. As the date progresses she comes to realize that maybe her date is more “blind” than she thought.
The Waiting Room

“The Waiting Room” follows Spencer and Elenor and their journey after death. Maybe in order to truly pass on, one must come to terms with the life they lived.
Frayed Edges

“Frayed Edges” is about Roxanne, a girl breaking up with her abusive boyfriend Dylan for the final time. It explores the toxicity of codependency and abuse of power.
Rinse and Repeat

“Rinse and Repeat” is a portal into the struggles of the 2008 recession through the lens of Sammi, a man trapped in a time loop. He finds the answers through trying to help a couple on the day of their breakup.
Love Don’t Live Here Anymore

“Love Don’t Live Here Anymore” follows Jill, a hopelessly romantic grad student, who falls head over heels for a man named Wayne with a dirty secret: he’s married and his wife won’t let her leave unscathed.
Elevator Crush

“Elevator Crush” is about Bill and Delilah and the elevator that takes them up and down every day at work. As the play progresses, the couple aren’t the only thing that’s “crushing.”
